YMCA Brunel Group offers various support projects across East Somerset (formally Mendip Council area) within our supported housing and youth works programs.

 

Supported Housing

Arthur House, Street Foyer & Frome Foyer:

We offer accommodation for those aged 16+ through our Thrive 16+ service (link to thrive 16+ page) who find themselves homeless and in need of support.

Adult Housing Services 25+:

We offer accommodation for adults 25+ who find themselves homeless through our housing projects in Wells and Shepton Mallet. This accommodation offers a home and support needed to help a person get back on their feet and access opportunities for building a better future and securing a tenancy. More information here.

Youth Work

Our youth work welcomes anyone aged between 10 and 19 years (up to 25 years old with Special Educational Needs); some of these young people can be vulnerable and/or have additional needs. We provide safe environments where every young person’s view is considered. In East Somerset we provide youth clubs in a range of locations as well as a Young Carers program.
