Yoga workshops at the American Museum

Yoga and meditation at the American Museum in Bath

We are excited to announce a new series of Yoga workshops in partnership with the American Museum and Gardens.

Looking for Bath yoga workshops? We are now in our third year of partnering with the American Museum in Bath as their health and wellbeing specialists. For the last two years we have run weekly yoga classes in their spectacular gardens during the summer months – there is nowhere better to spend an evening as the sun sets over the Limpley Stoke valley!  We have also run Saturday morning and school holiday kids yoga classes too! This year however we have decided to offer a monthly workshop around a variety of themes – such as:

  • What is Yoga?
  • All about Spring (Ostara)
  • The art of forest bathing and yoga

They take place on a Monday when the museum and gardens are closed to the public – so participants will have exclusive use and access to the gardens and ancient woodlands. The workshops will be based in the ‘Stables’ and will end with a delightful and wholesome brunch in their newly refurbished American Garden Deli.

Take time for self-care and come and find quiet beauty, flow and relaxation in special spaces, where you can reset, connect with nature and be inspired by spring.

Our first session, Exploring Yoga, will be taking place on the 20th of March. This workshop gives both newcomers to yoga and experienced yogis the opportunity to learn more about what yoga is and then put it to work in a series of practices. Exploring Yoga is led by Neil, a yoga teacher and fitness professional from YMCA Bath Health & Wellbeing.
