YMCA Bath Gym at Bath Life Awards 2023

Our amazing YMCA Bath Gym was proud to be nominated for a Bath Life Award this year, under the health and wellbeing category.
The event took place on the 23rd of March at the Pavilion and was attended by YMCA Bath Gym Manager Simon and Marketing Manager Sarah. They shared a table with Minuteman Press, Bath & West Community Energy, Young Carers Development Trust, and Digital Wonderlab.
The gym has achieved so much since coming out of lockdown, bringing members together with charity fundraiser events, supporting service users in other areas of our work and helping them grow, building connections with local businesses, and setting up a new membership system and app. The team is always looking for ways to create a stronger community and bring people together. They are excellent at coming up with monthly challenges, exciting pop-up classes, and member highlights. Being a member of our gym is truly a unique experience – and what’s more is that the membership goes towards our charitable work!
Even thought we didn’t win this time, we are so proud of our gym team and the lengths they have gone to in order to make our gym so wonderful. They definitely earned this nomination!
