We strive to create environments where members of the community, from any background, can learn, grow, and connect with others. And speaking of connections…
Roots Allotments aim to inspire and empower as many people as possible to embrace the joy of growing their own food. With the hope to ignite a passion for cultivation in residents, members, staff, and the local community, we have partnered with Roots at YMCA Bath to create a green space for all. Together we’re turning the YMCA’s grounds into a flourishing oasis.
We are looking forward to kindling connections, engaging the community, and offering a safe haven where anyone can relax, unwind, learn and grow.
We are still in the very initial stages of this exciting project and we cannot wait to see where the partnership takes us. We are beyond excited to watch our tired, disused outdoor space transform into a place where residents, staff, and gym members can be inspired to change the world.
In addition, Roots Allotments have also supplied YMCA Brunel Group with an allotment at their new site – we have already started planting and can’t wait to bring staff and service users out to the site.
