Lots of work has been going on at our new Glastonbury supported housing project as we start to get it ready for opening and welcoming in our first young people.
Contractors have been on site and things are moving forward. Staff have been making it feel homely in the main lounge; they have also created an art space and a book and games library. The staff involved are so excited and Accommodation & Support Manager Jane commented: “We are looking forward to our first resident moving in. We promise that we will make this house a home for many residents in the future.
They may come and go but we are set on ensuring that they all experience the YMCA in a positive and holistic way. We are so keen that this building will be a home to many where they can all belong, contribute and thrive”.
