Jubilee Celebrations at Christopher House

Christopher House staff and residents fully participated with last weekend’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

From Jubilee bunting to a cardboard cut-out of the Queen herself and a variety of royal themed fancy dress costumes for staff, it was all about celebrating the longest reign in English history.

Residents enjoyed traditional afternoon tea and in the spirit of community building neighbours’ children were gifted party bags, which included a make your own crown!

Accommodation and Support Manager, Julie Martin reflected:

“As well as providing lots of entertainment for everyone, residents also had the opportunity to develop their cooking skills, try new foods and make some happy memories.”
