Composting fun!

At our Hillside supported housing project we have just installed a composting bin.
Staff have been working with the residents and Support Worker Andy says: “We’ve been learning how we can become more environmentally friendly and installing a composting bin is a great start to our plans for putting in some raised veg beds so we can grow our own veg using our own compost”.
At YMCA Brunel Group we are committed to working towards a more sustainable future and have included a whole section on the environment and sustainability in our new 5 year strategic plan. Projects like this help us achieve some of our goals and allow people accessing our supported accommodation to benefit too!
