Christmas in Supported Housing

Every year, each of our projects works extra hard to bring about a unique Christmas experience to our service users.

Our supported housing teams have worked with residents and local communities to produce festive decorations and gifts.

Hillside House, which works with under 18’s in Yeovil, was lovingly decorated by staff and residents. Everyone said a bittersweet farewell to Chloe amidst the festivities, who worked as a support worker for 3 months and made a huge impact during her role.

Dispersed units in Yeovil received generous donations from the local Dunelm, and were visited by a few cheeky Elf on the Shelf characters! They also received a donation of food from Hunts Food Group, for the fourth year in a row, and hand delivered by Santa himself!

“A huge heartwarming thanks to our local community and the Team at Dunelm, Yeovil for ‘Delivering Joy’ to our young people at YMCA Brunel Group. Christmas can be a really tough time for our residents and with your help, they will have lovely things to open on Christmas Day”

– Charley Dawes, Senior Accommodation and Quality Assurance Manager in Yeovil

Over in Bath, Sporting Family Change donated some beautiful Christmas Hampers to be shared around the housing units in the area.

We are so grateful to the community and our staff for everything they have contributed to make this Christmas a memorable one for our residents!
