YMCA King’s Nursery Malmesbury is an important part of the community and supports many parents who work for local employers, including Dyson. It was established many years ago and YMCA Brunel Group took over the management of the nursery in 2013 and more recently we have purchased the building.

We work hard in this unique and beautiful community to provide a programme that includes exciting activities and provides the best learning outcomes for each child’s individual needs. Situated close to the town centre of Malmesbury, this 52 place nursery has 3 aged designated areas. Outside we are fortunate to have an enclosed garden where the children can play safely.

Here at YMCA King’s Nursery Malmesbury we recognise and believe that parents are the experts of their children and we work hard to forge positive relationships during settling-in visits to talk about your child’s individual needs. We are as flexible as possible regarding hours, days and times and our nursery is open from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm 51 weeks of the year.

We are here to support a variety of work patterns that parents present and work hard to accommodate individual family needs. Our parents are very complimentary about how flexible we are and how well our nursery supports their working patterns. We also have children who come part-time and they benefit from our high standards of education and care.

All of our learning is play based and staff keenly and accurately observe children to enable them to plan activities around their interests. Children enjoy exploring and experimenting and often start with us as babies and stay until they go to school. We love seeing them blossom and grow in our care.

We have a garden at the rear of our property.

We believe an outdoor classroom brings huge advantages in learning and resource our outside space well.
