What you can expect in this role?

You will ensure that YMCA Brunel group delivers a clean, warm, welcoming, safe, environment for young people, staff and visitors, within the premises/properties from which we operate, whether owned, rented or managed by the organisation.

The post holder’s specific responsibility will be to deliver an effective and responsive repair & maintenance service across the organisations designated sites.

As part of the facilities team the post holder will also ensure that premises that the organisation, own or use, to deliver its work are fit for purpose, kept to a decent standard and compliant with Health & Safety regulations.

The post holder will need to have their own vehicle for business use in this role.

You may have experience as or in:

  • General maintenance and caretaking of premises.
  • An ability to carry out day to day maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Knowledge of best practice and current building regulations in building maintenance.

Across Wiltshire (Currently – Lyneham, Chippenham, Calne, Trowbridge, Westbury) and Bath.

Hours

22.5 hours a week+ additional hours offered at times.

Rate of Pay

  • £10.04 per hour
  • £11,746.8 per year
  • £ 19,578 per year (full time equivalent)
